 - Gauge and size -

Gauge before felting- 16 sts/4” 16 rows/4”
Finished size after felting and assembly: About 6” tall

- Supplies -
4 10.5 double pointed knitting needles
1 smaller dpn- size 4, 6 or 7
1 small knitting needle, size 2 or 3, or a metal skewer
Sharp scissors
Tapestry needle, beading needle and embroidery needle
Knitting needle or chopstick
Wire cutters
Dishpan and dish soap
If you would like to tea dye the dolls to alter the skin tone, you will need 4 regular tea bags and a small saucepan.

- Materials -
Just a bit of worsted-weight wool yarn. The dolls pictured are Cascade 220 #8021, some tea-dyed.
Embroidery floss that matches the body color
One 1 1/2” inch wood bead with a hole on one side
Acrylic paint: skin tone, lip color, eye color, white eye accent
Small paint brush
Thin brown permanent marker
Four pieces of thread-wrapped floral wire
Wool for stuffing
